Please note that acceptance of these terms and conditions, including the cancellation policy, is mandatory when making a booking,

Our Terms & Conditions:

  • Standard check-in is as of 3pm.
  • Payment methods: Accept Visa, MasterCard, Cash.
  • Please note that Sunshine Valley Cottages reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time. 
  • Check out time must take place before 10am on  the departure day. Otherwise, the guest will be charged for an additional night. 
  • Facilities and grounds are for paying guests only. Please note that all visitors must receive prior approval from management before entering the premises. Management reserves the right to ask any unapproved visitors to leave immediately.
  • No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on the property.
  • When requesting a certain cottage we will do our best to make sure you stay in that cottage, but we can not guarantee this.
  • Sunshine Valley Cottages offers Wi-Fi internet access to connect to the Internet. Sunshine Valley Cottages cannot be held responsible for non-availability of the Internet network, inability of accessing the Website, external intrusion, computer viruses, or non-authorized online transactions using our Wi-Fi access.
  • Guests or their visitors are responsible for damage, loss or theft from their cottage and on the property. The guest shall bear all costs arising from such damage. 
  • The guest is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and treating the property with respect. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.
  • The owners reserve the right to cancel any booking should any unforeseen circumstances arise. In this case the full amount will be refunded.
  • There is one car park per cottage. All vehicles and their contents are parked at owner’s risk.
  • We do not accept any responsibility for damage and/or theft from vehicles parked within the premises.
  • No refund in case of anticipated departure.
  • We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at time of booking. We suggest that the policy should include, but not be limited to, the following cover: Loss of deposit through cancellation; loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money and medical expenses.

Pets:

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancelled up to 30 days before arrival, no fee will be charged.
  • Within 30 days of arrival your booking is non-refundable or transferable. 
  • In case of no show or anticipated departure, the full amount of the initial reservation will be fully charged, and the reservations will automatically be cancelled
  • Should you wish to cancel, please submit a formal written notice as per our conditions.
  • It is suggested to seek travel insurance to cover cancellations and other emergencies.
  • Please note that the cancellation policy differs for the dates between 22nd December to 5th January and the Easter Long weekend. For cancellations during these periods, a different policy applies. Please ensure you are aware of these specific conditions when considering a cancellation.
  • As a small family business, we sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy Easter long weekend and 22 December till 5 January.

  • You will be charged a non-refundable prepayment of 50% of the total price after reservation and the remaining amount in the 30 days before arrival
  • You will be charged the total price if you book or cancel in the 30 days before arrival
